is there anyone playing 40k in hungary?

Hey guys I wanna start playing 40k, and i'm wandering if anyone is playing in Hungary.

I am not there anymore but I suggest you look around on the Internet and Facebook. Two important points is where you live and do you speak Hungarian?

 

Hammertime café in Budapest revolves around 40k and other tabletop games - it's a store, a café /pub, and a gaming den in the basement.

 

There are a few other shops where you can ask around for games and clubs in the capital (wargammers comes to mind). Many players speak at least rudimentary English since they read codices and faq =)

 

The Facebook page Exterminatus Híradó regularly announces events all around Hungary, you'll probably find players in the people subscribed to it.

 

On the page Warhammer 40k Hungary (Facebook too) you'll also find such info and can ask the mods to post a thread to arrange games in English.

 

Főnixcsarnok in Székesfehérvár is also reputable, shop and I guess gaming facilities too? Never been but they do organise a lot of things and they are the no 1 hit on Google :)

 

 

I'd also check out Meetup and other irl-socialising social networks that have themed groups, expats often wander these to get their hobby fixes of all sorts abroad.

 

I remember seeing a few fellow Hungarians around here on B&C, maybe they'll pop up :)
