I need the name of some Ork boss/warboss/shaman/whatever who may have had and survived a combat encounter with Erasmus Tycho, and for whom he would have carried a massive grudge. rayvn26 Posted October 17, 2017 Share Posted October 17, 2017 (edited) The story stems from a battle report in White Dwarf 166 (October 1993) page 51 wherein Tycho, a generic Blood Angel Captain at the time just given a name by the player, I believe it was Gavin Thorpe playing them, in that battle an unnamed Ork Weirdboy blasted him with Zzap and killed him. But in the aftermath the model, Blood Angel Captain, was renamed Brother Captain Tycho in 1996, and given the fluff of the facial scaring and hatred towards Orks in the 2nd Edition (1996) Codex Angels of Death page 97. There you get a little tidbit of the info about the battle, it wasn't until the 6th Edition codex Blood Angels (2009) where you get a bit more of the info about him and his induction to the Death Company on page 41. I think there's more info in the books about the War of Armageddon, not sure I haven't read those yet. Matarno - Lord of Skyfall Posted March 13, 2020 Share Posted March 13, 2020 Does anyone know the White Dwarf issue where Tycho finally succumbed to the Black Rage and led the assault against the Orks during the Third War.
