Lord Blackwood Posted October 18, 2017 Share Posted October 18, 2017 Ive been toying around with the idea of doing a guard detachment for my knight house , you know something to represent the human forces that travel with the knights of house Blackwood on their hunts across the stars. I picked the Militarum Tempestus because the armor they wear shares some design flair similarities with knight titans themselves. I ordered 3 of the volkite russ tanks from forgeworld to use as executioners , since I dont like the standard executioner turret . Ive started assembling some stuff. Lysere Posted October 18, 2017 Share Posted October 18, 2017 I agree with using Scions to back up Knights both on the table and in the fluff, so much so that I do the same thing. Just remember that a scion detachment has to be nothing but scions to get the regiment bonus but with plenty of detachment options that should be a piece of cake to do that while also taking some tanks.
