Hello,
Made a list I'd like to play. It's basically just spamming the new start collecting kit and Wave Serpents

Iyanden Vanguard
-Wraithseer, D cannon
-Farseer, guide/doom

-Wraithguard, D cannons
-Wraithguard, D cannons
-Wraithblades, axe&shield

-Wraithlord, ghostglaive, 2x shuriken cannons
-Wraithlord, ghostglaive, 2x shuriken cannons

-Wave serpent, twin bright lance, crystal targeting matrix
-Wave serpent, twin bright lance, crystal targeting matrix
-Wave serpent, twin bright lance, crystal targeting matrix

Iyanden Spearhead
-Warlock, enhance/drain
-Spiritseer, protect/jinx

-War walker, 2x bright lance
-War walker, 2x bright lance
-War walker, 2x bright lance

5CP, 2012 points.

I'm 12 points over what should I drop?

Spiritseer and Warlock go with Wraithblades and form something like deathstar. With Protect and Enhance+spirit link they will have 2+/3++ on a t6 w3 model with 2 attacks (3 on the chargw) each hitting on 3+ rerolling ones.

Farseer hangs with Wraithguard to boost their firepower. I could switch doom for fortune to get the Wraithblades even beefier.

I'd drop bright lances and CTM on the serpents in favor of shuriken cannons and vectored engines, keeps your Wraithguard saver and they make anything go pop the bright lances would threaten anyways. Also you got those 6 bright lances on the walkers, which should - given psychic support - reliably kill a vehicle (except maybe a Land Raider or worse). If points allow i'd rather get a squad of the wraithguard to scythes.

I agree, between the War Walkers and the Wraithguard, I think you have ample anti-tank. Triple Shuircannons on the Serpents will improve your horde control while increasing your mobility and saving you points.

D-scythes are really good for their points. They are nearly as good as Wraithcannons against large targets, far better against infantry and their overwatch is fearsome.

If you save some points, you could even upgrade the Warlock to a second Spiritseer. For an extra 10 points, you get twice the number of wounds (great for surviving the odd Perils) and you get the full-blown version of Smite.

I can see the appeal of running the War walkers separately as the extra detachment gives you the option of extra HQ slots and an extra CP. However, War Walkers benefit greatly from Guide so running them as a single unit gives you an awesome unit to boost and you can still split their firepower if you wish. If you split out the Wraithlords, you can still run a Vanguard and a Spearhead Detachment. Try this.

Iyanden Vanguard
-Wraithseer, D cannon
-Farseer, guide/doom

-Wraithguard, D-scythes
-Wraithguard, D cannons
-Wraithblades, axe&shield

-Wave serpent, Shuriken Cannon, twin Shuriken Cannon
-Wave serpent, Shuriken Cannon, twin Shuriken Cannon
-Wave serpent, Shuriken Cannon, twin Shuriken Cannon

Iyanden Spearhead
-Spiritseer, , enhance/drain
-Spiritseer, protect/jinx

-3 War walkers, 2x bright lance
-Wraithlord, ghostglaive, 2x shuriken cannons
-Wraithlord, ghostglaive, 2x shuriken cannons

Sanguinius stood up, stretching his wings to their full extent. He flexed his hands. "I need no blade".
It was as though Sanguinius gleamed with pale light, his face white, eyes becoming blood-red, surrounded by the golden crown of flowing hair. Guilliman had witnessed glimpses of of his brother's wrath before, but had never seen the true Blood Angel unleashed. Sanguinius surged forward on alabaster wings, half a meter from the floor, whiteness streaming from him like flames.

Thanks, that seems neat. If I somehow could get the points for vectored engines on Serpents, -1 to hit for 10pt when advancing sounds pretty great.

We'll see how this turns out, I'm also experimenting with Alaitoc to really piss my Guard playing friend off.

Run an Alaitoc air-wing and really make him cry. :D

My main gripe about Iyanden is that it does nothing for Wraithguard.
