In case you didn't heard, DoW III just released nice Chapter Master in DW scheme skin:

Looks kinda cool, and more fluff colour schemes are always welcome. Who knows, maybe we could even take them in Codex? :whistling:

It wouldn't even be that far-fetched, with new "open everything for everyone" policy I can totally see two side TDA marks being able to serve in DW, especially with Roboute in charge.

Though, now that I look at it, one thing bothers me - why is Blood Raven pad red? :huh.:

Um, no. This is how Tartaros looks in DoW III:

And this here is regular Cataphract:

As you can see, DW skin is modified Cataphract. Yes, game is taking some liberties with both (explained as 'artificer' suit) but in fluff base suit is definitely supposed to be Cat. Compare him to FW Gabriel, he looks like mix of both too:

Um... those two pictures you posted? The one with the explicitly named as Tartaros, and the other picture, which you claim is Cataphractii... those are the same armor type. The shape and the curvature of the shoulder pads is identical, simply with differing ornamentation (the first one having a wing on the front, while the second has more explicit trim.) The arms and torsos are identical, again, except for the wings. The legs in both versions are clearly Tartaros rather than Cataphractii -- they have a very visable angular look, peaking in a triangular knee shape, and a central peak running down the frontal facing, whereas Cataphractii is topped with a separate trapezoidal knee-pad (in the vast majority of cases: there are outliers for Tartaros, specifically the 30k Deathshroud.)

The primary hallmark of Cataphractii is a double layer of shoulder plates forming the  that curve only on one axis. However, in Angelos' (game) model, this is not the case: he possess a plate curved on two axes, which is mounted over a semispherical secondary pauldron -- which is a feature of Tartaros. He wears Tartaros armor, mate.
