Hi,

 

Did anyone get any pics from this event?  With 40 players at Warhammer World, I'm sure there would have been some really amazing stuff on display?   For those who went, how did you find the ruleset, campaign and narrative?

I always like seeing armies on parade from events, I wish organisers had a bit more time and could to do an album of all the armies participating or some attendees took a few minutes to do the same. There are some awesome armies out there.

 

Anyway, I trawled through some of my facebook posts and gathered pictures in an imgur album, I didn't see any games in progress ones so it's all armies on trays/in cases.

Just looking at the score sheet, what kind of missions were being run? I didn't think Linebreaker and First Blood were in Heresy, was this another Heresy-with-40k-Maelstrom-missions event?

Linebreaker and First Blood were in for tie breaks. It was the heresy missions, no War of Lies or Ambush deployment

Certainly not unusual at all.

 

They've just gone MSU with ridiculous tanky characters up front.

i must be playing custodes wrong

He was deepstriking the squads down really close, my mate played him with his Solar aux and coudn't do anything as he was too close to safely Demolisher cannon.

Yeah MSU Custodes can be a nightmare (I know having played as them).

 

One basic 3 man guardian squad tore open an iron Warriors backline of Mortars and Havocs.
