I don't think I can do that on my iPhone, but I'll definitely try on my pc later! Thanks man

Do you have battlescribe connected to dropbox? If you do, once you've gone through the steps above for PC you can copy your data files over to dropbox and it should update, or at least it did for me on android.

Okay then some points might be wrong. I only checked the Predator and its base cost is 90p but schould be 102p acording to our codex.

Shows at 102 to me. Check that you're not on v26, that one had a bunch of assumed updates from Chapter Approved, and then the predator went back up with the codex.

I'm still at v26 after  updating- can somebody explain how I can point it at the new datafile manually?

Right click/save as this link, I don't think it matters where you put it: https://github.com/BSData/wh40k/raw/master/Imperium%20-%20Blood%20Angels.cat

In battlescribe go File/Data Repositories: http://prntscr.com/hn1yuo

Click "Import Data From File": http://prntscr.com/hn1z3q

Select the "Imperium - Blood Angels.cat" file that you just downloaded and click "Open"

That should update it.

It keeps telling me the Data file is too old and is no longer supported. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It's a question of when the catalogue files (linked via github, above) make it through to the appspot site that handles the automatic updates.

As the anonymous issue submission has been down for a week or so, I suspect the other parts of the site might not be working properly either.

They've made a right mess of most sergeants in the current version, fwiw, and all the primaris bar aggressors are also quite broken.

The app checks for updates weekly and on startup if you left the setting as default (otherwise you'd have to check for yourself). However as long as the server doesn't say there's a newer version battlescribe won't download it automatically even if there is one.

What annoys me most is that there are such huge differences between armies and even between units in the same army of how they get handled. Sometimes you have to click every single model seperately to give it a specific loadout, sometimes you can do it via the unit menue, sometimes it's even another different way to do it etc. etc.

The differences between formatting one army roster to the next comes down to people being able to enter data in a variety of ways to get more or less the same functionality. When I was mucking around with BS1 doing the Angel's Blade update for forum members there was a surprising variety of ways to get basically the same thing. It's hours of work to get it right and sometimes if it works having to add doods differently from one unit to the next it's not really worth dealing with. Sometimes it's also about how weapon options need to be handled. Edited by NTaW
