neonmole Posted December 13, 2017 Share Posted December 13, 2017 Hi everyone, I’m sorry if this is known / has been discussed, but I have just noticed in my codex (I have the collectors edition for reference) that the base cost of a predator is 102, which is the same cost as the index. In codex SM they are 90. I can only assume this is copy paste oversight from the index? The Stratagem doesn't talk about keywords, it talks about the specific unit “Predator“. “Baal Predator“ is a different unit. Damn shame since I have three Predators but not three of either variant specifically. EDIT: oh I get you now. Could easy be that when the image was redressed from the SM to the BA Codex the editor went through and made sure Space Marine made it to Blood Angel but forgot to change 'Predator' as well. No one is sitting down typing the same thing almost verbatim twice when they can copy/paste, but then it's a lot easier to miss something like this. Kappel Posted December 14, 2017 Share Posted December 14, 2017 In my Enhanced digital version the Baal Predator has both the Predator and the Baal Predator Keyword. I have no doubt that killshot works with Baal Predators. They are still way to expensive I think. And what is up with putting heavy weapons that can't shoot when advancing on a super fast assault tank? This unit just seem awkward to me.
