In the fluff portion of the codex, under Ravenwing Squads (pg 44) it discusses how the squads work in mixed 10 strong squads. 6 bikes, 2 AB, 2LS.

 

A formation we cant even do? (pg 110)

 

Also BK's cannot combat squad?

Double up and there you have 10 models.

Its odd (but this is GW), that they mention a formation that we cant even take.

 

Additionally, I am hopeful an FAQ will add Combat Squad to Black Knights. Along eith a Librarian on bike option.

Librarian on bike, and any other HQ option on a bike, can still be taken by using the index profile.

Havibg to go to seperate books to field your models is annoying. Kind of tge opposite of what a codex is supposed to be..... All your legit enties with one stop shopping.

It's says an attack squadron is made up of 10 brothers, 6 riding bikes, 2 riding an attack bike (as in 2 men riding 1 single attack bike) , and 2 crewing a Land Speeder (as in 2 men crewing 1 single speeder).

 

So 6 bikes, 1 attack bike, 1 speeder.

You are reading that wrong. 

 

"...a force made up of six brethren riding SM bikes, Two *brethren* riding an** Attack bike, and two *brethren* crewing a** Land Speeder."

 

*brethren* has been added in the appropriate places.
