Seriously considering stripping the terminators and converting them to obliterators just because I don't have any. Trying to decide what to do next. I've got about 25 more marines from the Betrayal at Calth box, but I don't really need any more marines or havoks. I don't have any noise marines so converting some out of the extra bodies is an option. Are noise marines worth taking over more havoks? If so, what is a good way to proxy sonic weapons?

 

I've got about 10 berserkers already and I wouldn't mind getting more of them eventually. I've also got the Death Guard from the box set lying around that I could finish and add to my chaos force.

 

I've been running my forces mixed with renegades and using minimum renegades just to unlock things like Leman Russ tanks, but I'm wondering if maybe a generic "chaos" faction brigade bolstered by specific "Alpha Legion" detachments would work better. In this way I could include some of the better chaos options in a nominally renegade brigade while still keeping it relatively inexpensive. I have to look into it and see what the most efficient way to distribute keywords is.
