Need some Color Help.

Perhaps use the Army Painter green, but go for a color scheme using black heavily as well. Sort of like The Purge, the old 2nd Edition Death Guard, or Black Legion Plague Marine-esque scheme. I'd wash it with Biel-Tan Green, MAYBE highlight it with Death Guard green or mix 50/50 Army Painter / Death Guard Green as a highlight.

Kinda hard to judge since both are so different pieces in different states of development (the Helbrute piece already has lots of details done that give contrast) but here I'd say I like the army painter green one better.

Thanks everyone for your input.

The more I worked at building up the colors with washes and drybrushing, the darker green won out for me. It somehow fits what I am seeing in my minds eye. The Death Guard Green base just feels too washed out, if that makes sense.

So, I think the final scheme will be Army Green, Athonian Camoshade wash, Death Guard Green drybrush, Nurgling Green light drybrush highlight.

I'll work on the Blightbringer more and post an update once I have him with the new colors, but I feel like its going to work.

Even if it doesnt, since I used Vallejo Surface Primer, it'll strip clean really easy. Repainting him wont be that hard like if I had used a rattle can.
