I just wanted to say that giving us the opportunity to react to the Codiciers training regimen is going to be very interesting for Gideon to respond to, while he does feel that there are limits, he is conflicted- he and his chapter embrace and heed the word of Librarians, whether they are that of Silver Skull or another chapter, so he must decide whether to side with the Codicier and possibly begin a rift within the kill team, or side with his brothers and steer away from his Chapter's culture?

Titus will wait for Achillion to say something (or psychically slap Titus down for his impudence!!!) before making any reply as to his reasons for the suggestion.

I was going to include Thorvald in my post since Titus made a comment about him and Chaka running together, but his character post doesn't say much. I know he waqs missing for aa while, but that's about all I know. Is there anything else I could add about his demeanor, or personality or...?

I will add Thorvald's character post to the list of things to do.
Here's Thorvald's description from the start of Episode I:
This warrior wears detailed armour that you recognise as Maximus armour, an ancient suit of armour edged in gold and draped in animal skins. He stands shorter than the Captain - shorter perhaps than nearly all of you, but squat, barrel-chested. His flame-red hair seems to form a mane and as he sees all of you his lips part to form an earnest grin that reveals pointed canines.
"This is Brother Thorvald, of the Space Wolves." The Captain says. The Space Wolf nods at you as Diocles continues. "I am sure you will have ample opportunity to gain the measure of one another as you serve. For now, though, we must attend to the matter at hand. You are to be dispatched on a missionof some import."
I envisage him as an old wolf - I've tried to stay away from some of the cliché comedy that the Space Wolves often get lumped with. He is even-tempered and fair, a noble warrior with a lot of sorrow in his life. He has served three vigils in the Deathwatch, and is very much a veteran. He fought with a frag cannon previously, but now fights with chainsword and bolt pistol, filling in where he is needed. He is very much a consumate warrior in this regard.

That was a fun post to write – great idea to use cards, Mojake.
I've added spoilers for the result, in case you want to keep things a surprise.

It's been interesting to sit back and read how the two squads are facing the problem of squad leaders in different yet similar ways.

Never wanted it to be.
Tyber is becoming more and more humble since he got his backside kicked by that lictor and coming to understand his place in the universe.

I bet, with such calibre to choose from and great merits for each it was always going to be though.

Mechanically speaking have a Tac Marine is only marginally better, but that is off set by the fact that Tyber's armor adds +1 to cohesion due to it having 'Lead from the front' as a history.

Ultramarine
Tactical marine
Fel 60 (possible with a UM, need to get a base 50 and put both +5's into it)
Ultramarine chapter trapping
Lead from the front armor history
But that makes for a highly specialised character that does one thing amazingly well, but can lag in other areas.

Squeezing for every drop of cohesion makes for a very sticky marine, I'd wager. Looking forward to how Blackthorn will adjust to this less than sticky leader. Should be good.

Oh of course, it's all about what makes for a good narrative. I don't think anyone here is really about to go and make sticky marines for the sake of being "the stickiest". Though now I'm getting the idea to make the Angels Adhesive chapter and call it a day!
