The 27th are decendents of one of the many tribes of Chogris who stood before the great Khan. Tall upon the backs of their mighty prize winning steeds, so great were their mounts that uncharacteristically the Khan ordered twelve of his trusted scouts to sneak into the enemey camp in the dead of night to poison the sleeping animals. Expecting to wake to see a broken enemy he laughed out loud when he was greated by tweleve hundred clansmen arranged for battle on foot. Sparing thier lives in exhange for thier loyality what became the 27th still follow this tradition and will often dismount in the heat of battle to fight their foe soul to soul. They are lead by the quiet Turgan'Yul Headman of the 27th Host of the 5th legion. known as The Reaper of the Fields of Galvarax. This depiction of the 27th will be just after the traitor's retreat from Earth hence their Loyalist Aquila markings. Parts are SW hero from Prospero, Mk4 helm, Custodes banner and spear tip, mk 3 arm custodes hand cut down custodes groin plate on chest, and mk4 tassles. sarabando Posted January 17, 2018 Author Share Posted January 17, 2018 working on the test mini so far the white has been drybrush of dark brown > layer of bone > wash in the rescess using soft tone > 50/50 off white and bone, next will be offwhite then white spot highlight.
