Infiltrators.

My early low point test games have shown I need the ability to capture far off objectives and deal with out of LOS shooting. Stupid Hive Guard.

A 10 man squad with CP support should be able to handle that I think.

Sounds nasty!  One big point with Infiltrators is the volume of fire they can throw down; I'd imagine a single phase under the Mars Strategem could put down some serious MWs.

Forgot to add with Cawl and Mars my odds of having re roll ones for shooting when I need it are very good.

Bringing the Infiltrators in near Cawl are also sometimes an option vs aggressive opponents.

Re rolling ones or everything means more sixes which we all know can be good under Wrath of Mars.

So we are playing an escalation league at the LGS and after two weeks my Ad Mech Mars force is five and one. My one loss coming off of VPs because I could not chase down his last unit or catch up on VPs before the game ran out of time.

Took my 1k list against an Eldar force that was thrown together by a friendof mine. Mostly infantry with some War Walkers.

Only my second game with Robots but wow they are super angry.

First round they deleted a ten man Dire Avenger squad then second round I put them into Shooty mode and the proceeded to murder a nine man Striking Scorpion squad AND the three War Walker squad. Granted with STR 6 they are bad news for Eldar and I used Wrath of Mars but yikes.

Here is a picture of the newest Robot and the Datasmith that has yet too see action.

Reasons to use the Iron-hearted Angels ('Codex: Blood Angels' supplement): Because you think the Librarian Dreadnought needs Furious Charge AND It Will Not Die to beat down a Chaos-worshiping punk and his Defiler, while a Stormraven needs a Vanquisher cannon to beat down this punk's Heldrake.

This guy was added for my 1k force in the Escalation League. He proved to be a real thorn in the side of my opponent. Denying him objectives and killing a couple of characters before finally being killed the last turn of the game.
