A: These Stratagems can only affect units with the Daemon Faction keyword So the amendments to the units in the Chaos codex include moving Daemon from Faction to Keyword. S'OK. Makes sense for balance and we still get to cross-target Warlord Traits, Relics, Psychic Powers, non-Stratagem Loci, etc. They didn't rescind the part of the Designer's Commentary that specifically makes that legal, nor the part of the DG FAQ that allows for targeting between different types of Heretic Astartes, so long as the proper detachments are in place. And Magnus can DS for CHEAPER now via Webway Infiltration anyway if he wants (or a friendly TS character can slingshot him with the Dark Crystal), plus Morty can just give himself Warptime with Chaos Familiar and away we go. I'm sure there are plenty other cool things in the codex to play around with. ^^ And Magnus can DS for CHEAPER now via Webway Infiltration anyway if he wants (or a friendly TS character can slingshot him with the Dark Crystal), plus Morty can just give himself Warptime with Chaos Familiar and away we go.
