Completely hide everything when I ignore someone.

Can you please hide everything? Threads, the little 'new thread' notification on the right, anything and everything whatsoever from the people I have ignored?

Not sure if it is available on this forum, but if there's an option for a friend, there should be an option for an enemy. So like friend - see all activity, enemy - see no activity.

Yeah the main issue is one of self control I suppose, may just be time for a break on my part. :p

Don't take breaks because of some douchebag. Just direct your hobby focus elsewhere. Stop visiting forums, start reading books ;)

I'm not sure how feasible this is currently, but I would say this is working as intended. If it was completely hidden you'd never know and this gives you options to check things out if you so please, or at least know a conversation is being had about something.

 

It may be possible to implement a local solution (i.e. with custom browser styling), but I would need a bit of time to look into this for you.

This is just the way the ignore function works in this version of the software. Haven't looked to see if there are changes in 4.x.

Hi Scribe, unfortunately I can't mock something up myself so if you're interested in a the local solution PM me and we should be able to sort something out. When/if so I'll post up the method here in case anyone else needs it :tu:
