Brother Jolemai! Long have our two chapters favored the fury of close combat and the sight of our enemies dying by our blades... Long has the debate raged about which chapter gains the Emperor's favor more.... BUT NO LONGER!

 

As Marshal of the Black Templar Forum I hereby cast down my gauntlet at your feet and we will settle it like the warriors our Primarchs know us to be. I challenge you and your kin to ready your blades (hobby knives), prepare your supply of armor repair cement(glue and greenstuff) and steel your minds for the arms race that will be like no other the galaxy as ever seen!

 

Let our feet, steel clad, pressed into the soils of this alien land, remark on our passing. What need have we of plaudit and praise? No matter the laurel of victory, no matter the glories others may seek.

 

WE ARE THE BLACK TEMPLARS, AND VICTORY IS IT'S OWN REWARD!

Challenge accepted

 

We shall meet on the battlefield on the 12th February whereby we will settle this score with a build event the likes of which has never been seen.

 

Our Chapters may be allies but your lot need to be taken down a peg or two. When it comes to the arts it is we, the Blood Angels, who hold mastery of the hobby blade. It is we who are the masters of the dryfit, build, magnetisation, and conversion. In fact, we were expertly utilising with green stuff before many of you were even Neophytes.

 

Our forum is ready for this challenge. Is yours?

A conversion challenge?

No, it's a build event. Conversions will be optional.

The Njesta Crusade will join the fray.

More the merrier :) Competition brings out the best after all.

I feel conflicted :D. One one hand I have a sigismund to convert up. On the other hand I still have a small company of BA to build.

If it helps, 30k stuff won't be permitted for this event. Aren't you due an increase to your BAs? ;)

Also, really looking forward to this and I am really curious what a "building challenge" is. I am surprised it does not consist of painting the model.

 

So Conversions are encouraged. The plot thickens.

I like to paint in pieces, meaning sometimes I'll paint a marine and bolter separate. How does this jive with building?

 

And count me in, I've got a lot to build, and although the 2nd founding chapter is honorable, and has carried the light of the Emperor forward for the last 10,000 years, we bring the lineage of Sanguinius, and victory will be ours!
