I think it's because I'm a GMTer. For me the event starts on the 20th, and all the dates etc throw me as a result!

Yep - similar for Aus... start is lunchtime Tuesday 20th. On the plus side, it does leave some kind of penalty overtime at the other end of an event :-)

It's no different for any other event on the B&C (or anything else for that matter). I do, however, realise that the start times arne't up on the OP and will update that accordingly, along with a full spread of times in the FAQ like I do for other events I'm involved in.

Meanwhile, kick off is in just over two hours' time.

Vows coming along. Two out of the 5 are done, drying and will soon have base coat. Then on to the next!

Edit: Okay for today built three of my HQ. Dante (will glue jump pack and prime), Lt. Tolmeron (BA Lt.), and Primaris Captain (with slight conversion by adding BA iconography).

I've got DC captain smash, as well as one more Primaris Lt.

This might make completing my vow a little bit difficult.

Is there any safe way to prime in the rain without messing up the model?

Usually, if the weather is wet I will spray my minis outside and then take them inside immediately. You might have to power through the odor, but it works with Texas Gulf Coast humidity that I have to deal with.

Inside spraying isn't an option for me unfortunately. I have cover outside so I won't get wet when I spray, but it's the humidity I'm worried about. Today didn't go below 82% and most of the day was above 90% due to the rain. That humidity range just seems too high. What are you dealing with in Texas Gulf Coast Hawklynn?

The challenge is to build without painting, no?

I'd have thought bad weather meant more time indoors to convert and build.

Unless you prime on sprue?

EDIT: Didn't read the undercoating bit in the initial post - seems a bit harsh for a winter event.

It's not winter everywhere though.
