So I just bought 30 bloodletters and wow!  A single bloodletter model has more mold lines than my entire space marine army did on their sprues.

Assembling 10 of these has taken several hours.  Does anyone else have models they despise assembling or painting?

I had the same experience with these. Also, pinning the feet was hard (I broke several legs), the banner pole is waaaay too long if you're using the icon option, and once assembled it's hard to get into the models to paint them due to their poses.

What I *did* find helpful was a liquid plastic solvent weld rather than the usual plastic glue. I scraped the mould lines thoroughly, and then brushed the plastic glue over them - this melted and smoothed them all down. Once dry, I assembled them all with more solvent weld, pushing the parts together hard to get a little bead of plastic squish out from the joints. Whilst they were still soft, I brushed yet more solvent weld over the joints, to remove the bead, and to smooth them into invisibility. It took a bit longer that I'd hoped, but they are all sturdy and there are no gaps despite using no putty.
