DP w/Hellforged Sword, Wings, Revolting Resilience, & Suppurtating Plate (Curse of the Leper)
Typhus (Blades of Putrefaction & Putrescent Vitality)
Malignant Plaguecaster w/Pandemic Staff [-1CP] (Miasma of Pestilence & Blades of Putrefaction)

Plague Marines x7 w/Plasma Gun x3
Poxwalkers x20
Poxwalkers x19

Foul Blightspawn

Foetid Bloat-drone w/Fleshmower
Myphtic Blight-haulers x3

I've run this against 5 armies now: Nids x2, Custodes, Daemon Khorne, and Eldar/Dark Eldar. I run all but the DP and drone in one big group with the Poxwalkers up front and everything getting the bonus from Typhus, the haulers, and Blightspawn with the PM's bringing up the rear. All the while the DP and drone move up the flank and taking care of any deep strike units. I've had all my opponents call the game by turn 3.
The only units that gets charged are the Poxwalkers (one game by 5 units) and the Blightspawn erased their attack first bonus. I have been thinking about switching a unit of Poxwalkers with Cultists just to get more Poxwalkers, but everything has worked so well I'm not sure I should.

I really like the look of this army. Feels very fluffy and death guardy but also effective.

How do you like the blight haulers ? I’m tempted to add at least one and try to get my primary force the cover, but 3 is tempting yet a huge point sink. How do they perform ?

A lot of people don’t like them but to me they’re the most fluffy play style unit in the army. Moving a tough blob up the field is what the army should be all about.

I noticed the DP doesn’t have wings or double talons, using the nurgle model ? I have the fine cast version that I bought before I realized everyone runs double talon wings.

Not sure I’d bother with cultists in this list. It could be nice to have a unit or two or 10 to grab objectives, but I think this list is all or nothing, and with typhus force multiplier poxwalkers are looking good.

Keep up the good work.

I forgot to include the wings and I use the sword because it's 3 damage.
I prefer haulers over hellbrutes because they move faster and have DR. With three of them I can keep all my troops in their aura and having Plauge Marines with a 2+ save is nice. The biggest draw back is when one explodes.

Makes sense, I have a hellbrute and the stratagem is nice, but would be really cool if they could’ve been taken as a unit of 3! Maybe I’ll try out the haulers.

What do you think you’d add to make his 2k?

Terminators, against sit in the back armies it would be nice to get in their face earlier.

With the strategem you can't move, which means the trun before you have to move into position and they keep whatever you are wanting to shoot as the closest target.

I would ask why you don't use Necrosius with all those pox walkers for only 10 points more, but the +1 cast on the malignant caster is pretty great. If you ever want to save a CP though it could be something to consider. It will definitely save more than 10 points of pox walkers, plus he's better at everything else besides the mortal wound on 7+.

Personally I like seeing a pure DG army without allies, and without the need for Forge world additions to make it effective (Necrosius).

I think adding Blightlords Terminators for a 2k game is a good move and would well complement the list you have here.
