So I thought I should chronicle some of my wip and completed paint jobs of my iron warriors army. The aim is to have it usable in 30k and 40k which to be honest is not that hard.

Looking good, especially the pose of the clawed Tartaros sergeant.

Yup pretty much everything is from calth or prospero apart from the hq options which are kitbashes / conversions of various resin kits

They're looking fantastic, although there's a distinct lack of hazard stripes 😁.

btw you can link the pictures directly if you put the link between [ image ] tags ... or was it [ img ]? One of those two. :P

Disclaimer:

If my posts appear rude to you, I apologize. It's not meant to be rude in any way, it's just the way folks are in my country. It's really more about being direct than being rude. I know how it's perceived in the english speaking community and I already try to tone it down but I barely notice when it's too much since it's normal for me.

So yeah, I'm really not rude it's basically just cultural differences that act against me here. Again, I apologize.

I'm aware I just needed to resize my pictures in order to do so.

Here's a resized wip test photo

Update number 9

Didn't get much chaos done today as I would've liked mainly due to working on necromunda gangs. Anyway here is completed tactical squad who just need to be transplanted onto their final bases.

Thank you very much!

The metal colour is super easy

Its scale 75 black metal > drybrush leadbelcher upper third of the model > argax earthshade all over > paint in erry thing else > nuln oil wash all over
Den highlight errything

Sorry for the gap between updates, all the snow has kinda lessened my painting time but I did get some bits done which I will post later

The Skitarii head blends brilliantly with the aesthetic of the warriors, a subtle point of interest amongst your squad. Liking the choice of blue for the Chaplain's cloak, it complements the gun-metal of the armour well.
