I ave scions i will be using as guard as well as stormtroopers. Working on some inquisitors now but in the mean time here are my Custodes! I finally found this paint and I'll never realistically be able to get it being in Canada. So now I know it's a Forgeworld recipe described as "red". I went weird, and used Bathasar Gold and will be going over it with Reikland Flesh Gloss and Nuln Oil. It's not leathery, but looks cool either way. Sorry, the leather, I used bathasar and darkened it to be a shiny dark color, but was thinking about how to replicate your leather color using GW brush paints. Which is what I was commenting on... doombull brown and Khorne red? What do you think? I also considered doombull and screamer pink which may give a slight burgundy tint? Are you planning to use the head that came with the Forge World model? I personally think the Shield-Captain head is a better match for Valdor. The FW one just looks weird to me. However, I have my first game with custodes coming up against Crons. I honestly don't know where to begin with a list. I was hoping for some help I have: 15x guardiands 6x allarus 7X wardens 6x jet bikes Valoris I also have both FW dreads. I was thinking of taking a supreme command with 3X Shield captains on dawn eagles for durability and fire output. Where should i go from there? Thanks all! My cousin has orks and we have a game cming up at thanksgiving. I hate to be that guy but i have ZERO idea how to even start a list with guard. so much going on.
