Captain Idaho Posted April 7, 2018 Share Posted April 7, 2018 I'm planning on building my own Flayed Ones since the models are just awful and there's only 5 whereas I need 15. The aim is to use Khopesh style swords on the Necron Warriors sprues. Problem: where can I get such weapons now? Tomb Guard are dead (excuse the pun) so what to do? I wanted dual armed too so need left and right handed weapons too. What advice can people give me? Any ideas of alternatives if necessary? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Marshal Loss Posted April 7, 2018 Share Posted April 7, 2018 The Kairic Acolytes from the Silver Tower box set have some really brutal looking Khopesh weapons that could fit the bill. Probably too expensive though because of how many you'd need. Your best bet therefore from what I know are Kromlech's 'Vibro Khopesh' swords, they don't have hands attached so no need to worry about right/left so long as you have arms to use with them. If i recall they are kinda like the arms on the old metal Wraith's that GW released when necrons first came out... for lower body you could even use the snake lower torsos off of the new daughters of Khaine set from AoS... and paint them in metals...
