From a modeling standpoint, it may be a little bit hilarious or fragile, but may look cool. I'm now tempted to try it when I get some bikes just for the amusement of it. Man I’ve got to start writing this down... Seriously though... if the bikes had them, you would almost never see any other unit take them. I personally think they’re vital. When facing shooting armies, I ball up into a Fist around the Vexilla and that gives me a better shot against Astra, AdMech, Necrons etc if a bike had them it would be yet another reason to not take anything else but bikes.
