I'm actually impressed that you have so many models build but not painted Errr .... yeah, it's not like I've got a wardrobe full of models that are either at the assembled or spray-based stage, sitting around not doing anything I'll be honest, painting isn't really my forte. I rarely get anything close to the point of being 'acceptable' before my mind wanders to some other project. Like those new Alpha Legion terminators that were revealed last week, or the couple of boxes of Orlock gangers I have waiting to be built once the weapon kits get released. And the one thing I was thinking just a few hours ago was "Should I be making one or two larger vows instead of three smaller ones? With three months and certainly a limit to the number of vows, are you limiting yourself to what you could do?", and that will ultimately be my pitfall - overreaching and overcommitting. Need to resist that and keep them small and, ultimately, completed. But, this is what the ETL is for - getting models completed. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Problem is most of my army is in the midst of painting, and I have been working on painting stuff for a escalation build league I am participating in at my local store. That makes a vow a bit harder. But I do have a 6 man squad of intercessors I just assembled but can hold off on painting for a couple of weeks, and a predator that is just primed black. It isn't much but its better than nothing. I might be able to add something else towards the end of may, it just all depends on when I get this done and how much time i have left after painting what I am trying to field for this league. update: So I just looked at the dates. 15th of may till August. I Should be able to participate a little, just means I need to hold some stuff off from the brush. Unfortunatel that squad of intercessors needs to be done, so will have to work on assembling the rest of the dark imperium primaris I just aquired over the weekend for that need. I will have some stuff, but right now, the only model that doesn't have paint on it that is assembled is the predator. I do have a blackknight squad I have to finish converting up and a sammael conversion to finish, plus the anniversary captain I can't pick up till the 19th of may. There is also that second interecessor squad from dark imperium and hell blasters that I need to assemble, and I guess I can always use another Lieutenant. A physical health check before such a big event is not a bad idea... and a mental health check after Stormraven assembled and partially glued. Now the big question Bone, Black or Green? It's not a Ravenwing flyer afterall, and real terminators don't need babysitting in a box When I get around to my stormraven, I'll do mine in green. Now that Stobz has decided upon crowning himself King in Slackland with that Warhound pledged, I have a Knight Castigator that is primed in two colors, as I sprayed them before final assembly. Would that be legit? I would love to get it painted, and after having had it on the table for the first time, and afterwards remagnetising it, I feel it would be a good first pledge.
