Nemerax Posted April 20, 2018 Share Posted April 20, 2018 I am definitely about the two minimum strength Marauders each with 2 Plasmas and Stalkers Options in addition a Renegade Commander with plasma pistol and a Malefic Lord. But a Valkyrie is in my opinion overpriced and more of a fun choice. I only used them on three tournaments so far and the Arvus Lighter is doing the dropping better. Thing is, if your opponent is smart he ignores them, they cannot threaten anything and for only transporting Arvus Lighter is the best and much cheaper. Luckily FW sells them again. Akrim Posted April 22, 2018 Share Posted April 22, 2018 Ive had success with a Valkyrie (rocket pods, laser) transporting Ogryn Brutes, great way to get off a solid turn 2 charge where you really want it. I havent used an Arvus but the stat line is too flimsy imo. I think for the measily extra 27pts (from weaponless Arvus to Valk) you get a far better deal. Arvus should be like 75pts base.
