Trask Posted April 28, 2018 Share Posted April 28, 2018 Hey all, Just wanted to introduce myself, and the humble beginnings of my Waaagh. Probably going to be Evil Sunz, as I love the whole KoS thing. I've got what I assume is a pretty average KoS list in my head, that I think would be heaps of fun to play, probably not competitive at all lol, but that's not why I play. My wife bought me this box back in 2008: I never got around to building it (or playing it!) So to honour that purchase, I just did my first conversion on one of the bikes: For my HQ choices, I'm planning on a Warboss on warbike, Big Mek on Warbike, and a Weirdboy. I've just finished the weirdboy: Pretty happy with how he came out. Took me a lot of time. This is going to be slow progress lol. Started doing the Big Mek on Warbike, but I need to find some bits to mek him up good and proppa. Saving them all till ETL. My first ETL pledge will probably consist of: Trukk Weirdboy Grukk Face-rippa (counting as warboss with powerklaw, kombi-rokkit and attak squig) 6 Killa Kans and then perhaps as my second pledge: unspecified number of warbikes (currently have 4 built) some burna boyz (only have 4) 5 Nobz (got more I can build) and then my Big Mek (if I can build something I'm happy with in time). All of the above is built and awaiting primer. I might try and get that going today. Anyway, glad the Orks are finally represented here on the B&C. Some amazingly inspirational stuff in this forum that'll keep me pushing for sure. I'm really looking forward to actually getting into the game (10 years later lol). Cheers lads. Also when building orks my best advice is don’t give any concern to what’s actually effective, otherwise you’ll just end up building and painting so many boyz that you’ll hate yourself and during games your opponents will start taking naps during your movement phase.
