Definitely Cap, and thanks! Got more Knights waiting in the wings. As I'm picking up my codex tomorrow I might do some infantry next to space it out. Been feeling very indecisive, I'm hoping seeing some fluff and crunch will help!

Cracking stuff Rikev, nice and clean. As for me, on to vow 2, twice the points of vow 1!

I LilNath rise to the challenge of E TENEBRAE LUX on the side of the Deathwatch and vow to complete one Knight Warden armed with an avenger gatling cannon, thunderstrike gauntlet and ironstorm missile pod of total value 487 pts on or before August 1st, 2018. Success will bring me and my watch eternal glory, whilst failure will mark me as an oath breaker and traitor.

Knight Warden Unpainted

My codex didn't arrive today, so I guess we're painting this for the next week.

Alright!  Now that the codex has dropped, my watch begins.

I, Dicebod, rise to the challenge of E TENEBRAE LUX on the side of the Deathwatch and vow to complete:

  • A Primaris Captain (98 points)
  • A Redemptor Dreadnought (202 points)
  • A Relic Sicaran Venator Tank Destroyer (230 points)
  • A Primaris Kill Team (296 points)
  • and a Veteran Kill Team (251 points)

of total value 1077 points on or before August 1st, 2018.  Success will bring me eternal glory and failure will doom me to wear the Badge of the Oathbreaker until year end.

...phew!

Deathwatch was the army I started last summer at the dawn of 8th edition, but after quickly completing 1000 points (mostly from the Start Collecting! box), I lost interest due to our lack of a codex.  Now that that's been rectified, I am very excited to flesh out my force to a full 2000 playable points (BTW, if you're curious about how these guys may end up, you can see some of my older DW models here: https://www.instagram.com/dicebod ).

And here is photo proof of my pledge, some primed, some assembled, and some still on sprue.  My goal is to have everything assembled by next Sunday so I can start in on the assembly line airbrushing.

Well, that's the wonder of not having and then having a Codex! Welcome guys with your hefty vows! Good luck to both! That's an amazing showing for the Deathwatch and, by extension, the IFOR!

I'm looking forward for more to join!

Great progress there war009 - keep the pace man!

THIS IS THE CUT-OFF FOR THE WEEKLY UPDATE - EVERY VOW OR COMPLETION REPORTED BEYOND THIS POINT WILL COUNT FOR NEXT WEEK'S UPDATE.

We need more Watch Masters! If anyone is still seeking a faction to commit to, we can create some very expensive vows for a very low model count. ;)

Terminators for my first vow are almost done. Painted and just needing basing. No decals sadly for the shoulderpads as I lost them but they are otherwise fully painted for tabletop gaming.

PLEDGE COMPLETED!

I am finished with my pledge (+1 extra termie that I started already that is not part of it). I immediately regretted converting/kitbashing some of the more detailed Terms. I got a little lazy with the Culexus after the pain of the Terms, but I'm calling it done. Going to wait a bit before doing my second pledge.
