Part of my order has been lost in the Warp however my Nightbringer and Deciever have arrived thankfully so my second pledge will be these two:

Nightbringer - 210

Deciever - 225

Will post pictures of them once I get them home.

Progress! My scarabs are almost done, guys. However, I'm curious as to what you guys think of this. I washed these guys with Drakenhof Nightshade, but I'm not sure how it turned out. WHat are you guys thoughts on this?

The scarab base on the far left is one I painted before ETL.

@Daimyo-Phaeron Lenoch -  it looks good with the wash, but i'd paint some brighter metal on the front lens(nose?) area and the parts down the spine back just to make it Pop

Cheers, Mithril

@Daimyo-Phaeron Lenoch I like it, however those eyeballs need a dot of bright red & white to make them glow a bit. And what are you gonna add some "stuffing" to the bases? some brighter bushes might make them stand out a bit more.

Ok so a wee mini update and also getting my starting pictures up as promised earlier.

First up is the Deciever. Going for the GW look for this with the metallic body and still undecided on the robes. The state you see in the pictures is with the airbrushing finished for the skin. The transitions do not come up with on a camera phone in bad lighting. Going to wash him and then take it from there:

36730171 10156690727465362 7269627023478226944 N

36677021 10156690728045362 4422424144180674560 N

36734519 10156690727800362 2606908259474341888 N

36720143 10156690728020362 5371919212916768768 N

And the Nightbringer. Inspired by all the AoS stuff just now I picked up the new technical paints and figured that this model would really suit the Nighthaunts style of painting. The current pictures are him all green, its actually still wet in the pictures. I will be going over the cloth with the blue and then drybrushing the whole model using the same style as the Warhammer TV guides:

36729933 10156690727285362 4966846991666511872 N

36776540 10156690727740362 5794365843894697984 N

36726907 10156690727630362 4734880884660895744 N

36737285 10156690727605362 1595049277757849600 N

Picked these two up off ebay and there was some damage that had to be repaired on them sadly but once they are painted and on the table you wont notice the gap filling and the like :smile.:

I love them, picked up the Nightaunts for AoS and I dont even play the game just so I could paint them. Would definilty reccomend them. They just feel like something you would use on Necrons if that makes any sense.

So i made a little boo boo when I ordered the new paints and forgot Ulthuan Gray...or rather considering the number of paints I have I just expected it to be there. Anyway a wee update while I await the arrival of a single paint :sad.:

The Nightbringer first, done an all over wash of the new Green and then just a messy wash of the new Blue on the cloth. I decided to try out the drybrush anyway and used the GW White, White Scar I think it was. Not 100% happy with it so going to go over the drybrush with the Grey when it arrives and blend it in. Failing that I will just rebase it white and learn from my mistakes:

36905710 10156695686555362 3769383171506831360 N

36761946 10156695686875362 3690814952509014016 N

36781688 10156695686750362 7233283959407247360 N

36769724 10156695686540362 7518894478522843136 N

And onto the Deciever. In the pictures I have washed it with the darker brown wash. Apologies but I am still stuck in the old colour names so its the Devan Mud equivilant. Once this was dried I done a drybrush of the Balthasar Gold and then a drybrush of Mythril Silver (Runefang Steel in the new colours).

36797032 10156695687155362 2237827855574630400 N

36809913 10156695687380362 1002825974003269632 N

36824596 10156695687185362 7175909325251018752 N

36800257 10156695687415362 2941015285848604672 N

Plan going forward is to redo the drybrush on the Nightbringer and finish the cloak and details on the Deciever. Don't expect to get much done this week with work and then RIAT down south at the weekend so hopefully more next week.

:smile.:

Looks good! This may be in part the lighting, but they very much look like recently reawakened warriors that haven't had the time to get clean yet. Pleased to have another completion for the cause. Are you looking for a revow?

Congratulations Adorndak - with your completion the Necrons have the highest completion rate in the ETL so far! And this has a profound effect on the Necrons' score! :tu:

THIS IS THE CUT-OFF FOR THE WEEKLY UPDATE - EVERY VOW OR COMPLETION REPORTED BEYOND THIS POINT WILL COUNT FOR NEXT WEEK'S UPDATE!

"Disengage time seals, reengage power to neural matricies, and energize!"

The Aethermancer Therek Thunderseeker stepped back and fired a bolt of lightning at the nearest lightning rod. It flashed across the metal and into a power receptacle, where lights flickered once, twice, and then began to glow a steady, eerie red.

"Welcome back to the land of the undead, milord," Therek said to his master.

Sarnakh the Sunderer, Phaeron of the Naculan dynasty and Master of Seranon stepped forth from his reforging capsule and stretched his steelforged limbs. "Therek, my friend!" he bellowed. "How has this dynasty been run whilst I slept? I trust Kani kept everything under control?"

Therek chuckled then embraced his master. "Yes, milord. Kani has managed to not run this dynasty into the ground for the three and a half tenrotations you have slept."

"And my Favored?" the Phaeron asked, reaching for one of his scythes (The Seething Void) and summoning his resurrection orb as he did so.

"Ready for inspection, my friend." The Thunderseeker gestured out the doorway of the room.

The Sunderer nodded once and stepped out of the room.

"Phalanx 00001 Naculan sound off!" Called the warrior prime of the Phalanx.

"Makethist present, sir!"
"Isedes present, sir!" (3)

"Khaemqen present, sir!"
"Henurtari present, sir!"

"Cleoset present, sir!" (6)
"Ahanut present, sir!"
"Gil'sekh present, sir!"

"Priekh present, sir!" (9)

"Karorqa present, sir!"

"Nek'kare present, sir!"

"Nehefer present, sir!" (12)

"Iuwekor present, sir!"

"Iuweka present, sir!"

"Isemhat present, sir!" (15)

"Agatka present, sir!"

"Harkeru present, sir!"

"Ibiaseht present, sir!" (18)

"Sir, Warrior Prime Ruleen'Okah begs to report Phalanx 00001 is present and ready for orders, sir!" shouted Minor Noble Ruleen'Okah, son of Quazaka, Lychguard of the Phaeron.

"At ease, soldiers," remarked the lord of Seranon. "You are all refreshed and ready to war once more?"

"We are, milord," they responded in unison.

"Excellent. Therek, where is my barque?"

"Just here, milord." Therek gestured, and
Sundering Wrath floated out of the nearest dimensional gateway large enough for it. It gleamed with fresh polish, and its two Warrior Prime pilots sat up erect and saluted, claws across their necks, where they sat before returning to the operation of the machine.

The Phaeron saluted back in the same manner, blade level with his throat, before running up to the barge and latching onto an armored spar. Hoisting himself up, he declared, "Then let us be to war! To the Will of the Phaeron!"

A great cry went up amongst them, and they all entered the dimensional gateway, retuned for the dynastic flagship to return to reclamation and conquest once more.

My second vow is hereby declared complete! I'll have more pics when I wake up. Also, what do you all think of the lore I wrote? Like it/hate it/indifferent? I'm always looking for feedback, so don't be shy.

Forgebane is on its way—I will be attempting at least one admirer/stalker conversion before everything shuts down. Anything after that will be bonus I believe.

Let’s see some more completions or vows, Necrons! We have a galaxy to reclaim!

Busy working on the doom scythe and may complete tonight. Had a bit of a slow process with the weathering highlights but just weapons to go. Had an assignment due last night and now done so packing for holiday tonight but hopefully finish the next weapon stages.
Taking the Vow with me as staying in Mum and Dads flat. Shouldn't be too difficult to get the two characters finished and a solid amount of work on the barge while away and that'll leave me with the barge to finish on the 31st when I have a day off.

So calling these guys done.

Found the addition of the Ulthuan Grey on the Nightbringer didnt really change much. Doing the base did bring it together mind you and I am happy with its come out. Some definate lessons going forward for using the new Technical paints:

37365307 10156724291350362 4867165989046845440 N

The Deciever I think needs some more contrast perhaps on the cloth but it's tabletop ready and I am happy to have it as complete now.

Working on putting together some Wraiths just now, if I get them built before the weekend will pledge them.
