Captain Semper Posted August 1, 2018 Author Share Posted August 1, 2018 ETL VI IS OFFICIALLY OVER! NO NEW COMPLETIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED PAST THIS POINT! That was a blast, but it's not over yet! I will go through all the Outposts to make a LAST UPDATE later on and then I need to compile the results and present them in a meaningful manner in the Final Report. This will come in a couple of days along with the relevant badges. What I need is, after the LAST UPDATE, for each participant to check his/her status in the first page of his/her Outpost and notify me if there is something amiss so I can correct it. Do that publicly in the Outposts as my inbox is filled and I have no time to clean it up. Once you check your status lay back and wait for the final report. If you have any questions feel free to raise them. You can freely discuss the event in your Outpost, post pics of your vows and generally have a great and relaxed time until the Final Report. If I am to vow (and a couple of time I did) it will be the Dark Angels of course! Just remember though, the real challenge is to support the Xenos as they appear to be the underdog of the event. Thank you sir! I personally love the Necrons - my favourite Xenos! I get the lack of plastic super-heavies may limit the options of the Necron crowd within the ETL context but still, nothing that cannot be overcome with mass participation! On a personal note, I really want to see the Xenos sub-communities grow - even by cannibalising the more established forums... I'm going to finish up my Vow posts here as I get the basing done for the sake of completeness and having spent some time working on the Doom Scythe it's all finished up. I added decals and varnished the Blackstone areas while also getting the monolith painted and basing done. The Cryptech is next and will be glued back to his base tonight. As I'm doing some tests to try and cast up flagstones and the other details I use so that I don;t have to create them from scratch each time. If that works the Lord and Annihilation barge won't be long behind. Thing is I got a bit carried away buying crons so I now have all of this to play with. Some may get saved till next ETL though I'm going to as a minimum get a unit of warriors and 2 bases of scarabs done to give me a 1k list to play with. Mechanist Posted September 3, 2018 Share Posted September 3, 2018 As promised I have pictures of the last based Crons This took a little while as I was playing with my die cutter and stuff to do the stone on the Barge and then I've been playing with my new phone camera to get the balance and focus right but I think that enough for now and at least I can say everything from My ETL vow is not only complete as a vow but also fully based.I'll be using my PLog in the WIP section of the forum for further posts so please feel free to pop by and drop a comment or two as I make new posts.
