I've dusted off and finished another long neglected model. It's the Looted Carnifex Pandorasbitzbox made me as a gift something like 7 years ago. I mention it further back in the thread.

 

 

 

 

 

He put a lot of work into this beast so it's great I've finally managed to (hopefully) do it justice!

Amazing. I've seen a looted Carnifex before but this one is loads better. I think your painting breathes life into a very sold conversion. I think your friend would be proud.

Anyone who remebers or has looked at page one of this thread will see a Burna Bommer from 2 years ago. I've finally finished painting it!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The smoke is made by Glueing Autumn flock onto a bit of sprue and coating it in superglue before painting. Brad Glover has done a tutoorial on twitter for how to do it.

I've managed to paint up 2k between February and April this year. Currently on with flash gitz and you're not wrong! They're taking some serious painting compared with everything else. Yours look superb as does the Burna bomber. Epic job dude!

Amazing army mate, I love the little retro touches like the skull hats going on. These are by far the best Deathskulls I have ever seen.

Really magnificent. I like the lighter blue a lot, I also noticed it in the Kastorel-Novem artwork but I've never seen anyone translate it onto a Deathskull model before. You've got some great kitbashes here too, very inspirational stuff.

Thank you. Yes those Flashgitz are a pain. Happy to have them finished. Up next is either finishing the Meganobz at the third time of asking. I really want to get my unit of bigger lootas done. I'm currently doing some non Ork hobby though.

I'm not currently dong Orks but I wanted to reply and might as well post some pics at the same time. Here's some better pics of the Deffkoptas that appear at the start of the thread...

 

 

 

 

 

The last thing I was painting for the Orks was the Meganobz. These also appear at the start of this thread. I've got further with them but then hobby butterflied off to something else. Tried to apply some of the battle damage techniques I came up with when I painted the Burna Bommer.

 

 

 

When I return to Orks I will try and finally get these finished. 

 

In between lockdowns I did manage to have a few games with my Orks. 25PL games. My Burna Bommer performed well so I was happy with that. Had some pretty good games. Even played @Warbringers Deathskulls! I'd like to say it was close but I did lose that one. Good fun. Maybe next time we will team up for a big Waaagh again!
