I have 3 AM armies, 2 styles of Renegades and Heretics, and now I'm looking into doing guard Xenos style. So for starters I have a basic guard list of around 1000puts 3X CCs 3X sniper command squads 6X infantry squads plasma/ 3X auto cannon 3X lascannons 3X Scout sentinel with auto cannons 3X mortar heavy weapon squads From here I want to add 1000 pts of GSCs. What detachment should I look at and where should I start? I like the idea of layering as many buffs as possible and possibly go more melee. Ganders Posted May 12, 2018 Share Posted May 12, 2018 The deathwatch overkill box would get you a good base but if I was you I'd just use your AM units and purchase the cult HQs and a lot of genestealers. A patriarch with a couple of large genestealer blobs will cut through almost anything and are buffed up by the size of the unit and the patriarch.
