Tau Shoulder Pads

I think you'll have more success asking that in the General PCA Questions forum. Most people here are more likely to use their T'au shoulder pads on actual T'au models ratherthan on Marine models. ;)

looks like i need to file it down if i wanted it to fit, but dude I greatly appreciate the pics. Running with a deathwatch vanguard unit that practices the keep what you kill concept and wear their trophies on them. and i needed to see this before i put my money into unnecessary bits (again).

Keep what you kill is a nice concept but seems weird when it comes to armor. Especially with shoulder pads. Firewarrior armor is inferior to Power Armor and shoulder pads aren't just protection, they're used for heraldry as well.

Anyway, as always: your models, your decision. ;)

I feel you on that one, but this is more like an enhancement rather than a replacement. From an RPG point of view, salvaging weaker items to uprgrade the equipment you have on now. For example, once concept I had was to merge a necron front torso to the back of power armor. All in all though just adding Xeno trophies to each Vet, to make them look more menacing. That they take pride in hunting down many Xeno scum.

And lore wise, my DW faction are pretty much blackshields that have pledge their loyalty to the Inquisitor and his expeditions for the greater good of the Imperium.

All in all, this project was meant to test my kitbashing skills with lack of green stuff (still a beginner in that department)

Sounds great, and most importantly fluff nazi's aside... Do what you want to do and love! And an awesome way to rank up your kitbashing skills. Look fwd to seeing what you create!

Also just to annoy all the fluff nazi's... Make one of your team a female :-D lol...

Cheers, Mithril
