Deathwatch allies

I'm looking to put a unit of primaris deathwatch in my IG army as allies. We usually play power levels in my group, so I'd like to keep it around 15 power worth.

I'm thinking either a captain plus 10 intercessors (16 power) or a more mixed squad of a captain, 5 intercessors, an inceptor, reiver and an aggressor (17 power).

Which is tge better load out? The 10 man unit can combat squad, but the smaller more diverse unit has plasma and more tricks.

Eitger way, the plan would be to deepstrike them in via the teleport strategem and hunt hqs etc.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I mean, if you want teleporting HQ hunters, Custodes (particularly Allarus Terminators) would seem the way to go

EDIT: Given your plan, I would recommend giving that captain's bodyguard 2 Hellblasters to go with the other 3 specialists, and ensure that the Inceptor has plasma too

I'd steer clear of Deathwatch kill teams for power levels

In fact Marines in general can be very quirky my normal lists of 2000 are generally 125 power level weather that's Deathwatch or Dark Angels, the upgrades points system V power levels simply don't work. I think the lowest I've ever got a proper list is 115 and that was for a DA brigade list.

Buying 3 aggressors is 6 power level buying 4 is 12 and plasma inceptors are the same as bolter inceptors

Anyways if your going to give it a go I'd take 5 intercessors 3 aggressors 1 riever and 1 plasma inceptor backed up with a Captain and DS both at 20 power level.

For 25 power level you can get 2 Captains and 3 Intercessors squads for a battalion, upgrade the Captains with thunder Hammer and the intercessors with grenade launcher and power sword. Special Issue Ammunition is a solid weapon that will reap a lot of damage over the course of the battle, unfortunately it's not as sexy as a Kill Team but is far more power level efficient as the extra CP's can be used on Deathwatch strategems such as DS tactic switching etc..
