Dealing with Aeldari Flyers

I'm currently running mono Nurgle daemons but I'm really struggling with flyers specifically Alaitoc Hemlock Wraithfighters and Drukhari Razorwings/Voidravens. My opponent regularly runs 3 of each and it just blows my stuff away. How do we deal with these things?!

Well theoretically if you can wipe the rest of his army he automatically loses the game at the end of the round no matter how many flyers he has.

Alternatively throw Daemon Princes at it until they drop dead lol

DPs are the only really effective option to kill them. Against hemlocks you want something to eat the overwatch (e.g. furies) improved invulns/the WL trait to reduce damage works okay too.

 

As panzer says in an objective game with 6 of them id consider ignoring them.

 

Hilariously if you get them all really close to Skarbrand and in combat then they have to test to fall back and just explode if they fail. Hard to acheive though.

Also plague drones- you know those plague bearers on giant flies?

 

They have FLY and a shooting attack

Bloat drones with spitters should fly shoot charge them, then have DP fly in next. You have to focus down those jets fast or they will wipe your whole army by turn 4, I have played against many many many Eldar flyer armies. Best chance you have is 3 bloat drones, 3 flying DP, and if you can magically pull this off somehow, blob of the plague drones with HoN and that other PB buffing HQ in bubble range. If you got that the Eldar will be pissin their soulstones. Pray for hot dice on your saves for that first 2 turns though.
