Plaguecaster Posted June 9, 2018 Share Posted June 9, 2018 For a couple of years I have had a few of the heresy Legion vehicles just gathering dust including a Spartan. I am planning on trying them out in 8th as part of a fully mechanised Death Guard force and was just wondering if others have had any luck running mechanised DG. It will be most likely focusing on Plague marines with rhinos supported by Sicarians and or predators with a Spartan as a centrepiece filed with something like Death Shroud or more Plague marines Obviously it won't be competitive but would a mechanised list for Death Guard work especially without most of the more powerful DG stuff Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Praetoria Posted June 14, 2018 Share Posted June 14, 2018 I will be testing this out next month in a 1750 pts two day tournament. I used a smaller version in a 1350 pts event and won 3 from 5 games. Found the rhinos were good at protecting the precise cargo from deep striking. Pushing everything forward and popping smoke and then using the rhinos as a battering ram to stop units shooting, was very effective. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
