IK Dominus and Questoris weapons compatibility example

Thought I'd try to see if the weapons from the old Knight Warden (Questoris-class) fit on the new Dominus frame...


They fit perfectly. Mounting points in the shoulders and atop the carapace are identical. Unfortunately, the Shieldbreaker mounts and Siegebreaker turrets are not backwards-compatable with the Questoris carapace, because the ridge for the hatch on the older Knight gets in the way.

Now if only that was a legal loadout...

While it fits, it looks a bit silly without the armor plates on the side. I feel the same about the legs - the waist joint is the same but I don't think they work when swapped.

I still don't like the Dominus pattern, but I do seem some potential for salvaging parts to add variety to my Questoris Knights. I wonder what the plasma cannon would look like on an alternate Paladin...

It doesn't, it just looks too bulky.
