I'm curious to know what people's thoughts are on a 8th edition style victrix guard. I'm itching to try it out for fluff and gaming reasons In general.

How would you guys build such a force?

My own list is themed on the Victrix Guard, but I've expanded it to include more mundane units that I consider to be reinforcements and expansion for a military organisation acting as the personal army of Guilliman.

That said your army looks okay. Not much to say except perhaps lose the surplus HQ. Do you need a Lieutenant, Tigurius AND Sicarius? Alongside Guilliman?

The Apothecary could go also if you want to beef up your numbers.

Regarding the Thunder Hammer and Storm Shield Veterans; I see what you plan with the Apothecary to being back to life those models but I suggest a rejig is in order. The Theoretical doesn't match the Practical in this sense.

Storm Shield spods, when they get a choice between weapons (unlike Terminators) should have either a Chainsword or Bolter. If you really want to fork out upgrades a cheap power sword is understandable. An expensive Thunder Hammer is a definite no-no.

Bringing back 1 model on a 4+ won't compensate for the points investment. Especially as usually you'd prefer to put D3 wounds back on a character instead.

Still it's a nice theme and looks good so that is a decent reason to do it.

Overall I'm impressed with the list. It looks quite dangerous on the table.
