Psi-Titans in the wild.

Out of curiosity, has anyone ever encountered one of these in an actual game? I can't actually recall ever hearing any mention an Ordo Sinister Titan actually being used, which I suppose is due to high points value and rules.

Where there any Sisters of Silence Seekers with grenade launchers killing it?

Ordo Sinister was Fidelis Constantus wasn’t it? They aren’t an option for traitor armies so SoS won’t ever be fighting them.
I know it is loyalist only but look at the picture on page 280 in book 7.

Right shoulder.

The Aquila? Besides, it's facing off against what appears to be a Xestiobiax Warhound.

Looks like the eight pointed star to me.

Anyways.

Until now only the loyalist have the broken :cuss. Let's wait for Malevolence and see if they keep going that disastrous path of power creep.

I wonder how to kill a Warlord Titan with psychic powers? Seems almost impossible to me without an own titan.

For 3250pts, you can field nearly 6 Falchion Tanks with Neutron Wave Capacitors; That's 6 chances to prevent it from ever firing (note that it never ever fails an AP roll, as it never has to make them courtesy of being a Destroyer Weapon). So it can only really melee you, and hope that in 6 turns of Antipathic Tempesting it, it can kill you. Use a load of Haywire to strip its Hull Points first.

Alternatively, 8 Knight Lancers making 40 Destroyer Attacks (hit and be hit on 5's) means that it's taking 13 hits, dealing around 34 Hit Points of damage on average.

Sure, there's also an army, but that's going to require another nearly 10K points to be fielded first.

A Warlord Titan is immune to Haywire but that Falchions could work.

Should work although it has it's invulnerable save of course, but that should only save 1/3 of that attacks. :)

And the Knights of course.

The haywire is there to strip the Void Shields. Again, FW, back at it again with the inability to write rules (Bikers don't suffer a negative to hit with their Melee Attacks, but Infantry and Super Heavy Walkers do? What about Cavalry? Nope, they're fine too. What about the Knight? Nope, that suffers a malus), but it states that the Void Shields are hit instead of the Titan - unless the Void Shield being hit means it takes the Exo Shock. Stll, you'll have 9-10K of points to strip off the VS if you wish. Or, via the Knight option, it's pretty much dead anyway - bear in mind each turn they get to charge, so that's another 28% chance to score at least 1 HP damage.

Haha I didn't realise that bikers don't get a malus. :D Well done Forgeworld, well done.

We all know that they just forgot them but still funny. ;)

And yes, you can destroy the Void Shields with Haywire. Should work just fine I guess.

But still it is a huge challange to face that kind of monster if you don't have bought specific stuff (6 Falchions) to kill it.

Which makes somewhat sense but is unsatisfying nonetheless.

Lotta talk in this thread and no pics..... :laugh.:

I just hope if/ when they do a kit it gets 40k Rules. I guess my dream would be a summer release with the 40k Talons books...

I know, I know... 40k in the AOD - but my Apocalypse group is 40k.

There's one on the Titan Owners Club blog. It's pretty slick, got a converted left hand of darkness, custom pauldrons and a nicely done cockpit interior. But yeah, they're so rare that before I saw this I forgot that their official colour is a dark green.

well now i know who im doing my AT minis as.

Same, whatever legion I go with I'm keeping space for a single warlord earmarked for the Ordo. It'll be fun to see how they try and balance that in AT...

My Warlord fought that Warlord (Nathan's from The Greying Legion) at Adepticon this year. He killed my Warlord in close combat. It was an epic battle and Nathan is a really awesome guy.

It's ability to heal and force infantry to take morale tests is frightening.

Here's a few pictures from that Apocalypse encounter.
