This is my army log for the 70th Symphonic Choir. A thematic, fluff-friendly Slaanesh army which will include CSM:Emperor's Children, Slaanesh Chaos Daemon, Fallen Knight, eventually Dark Mechanicum (if GW got the great idea to launch a Dark Mechanicum codex) and R&H.

I've already posted pictures in the EC topic, but now that i've passed my thesis i got more time to paint and do a proper topic. So here is a first look at some Noise Marine :

It looks like a fluorescent purple airbrush paint that I have used as a wash (see my daemonettes: http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/topic/346143-the-judgment-on-kadeth-dr-ruminahuis-emperors-children/?p=5102937 and my noise marines - same thread, second page) and mixed with genestealer purple for my marines armour (see my noise marines).  From the vibrancy DIC achieved, he/she aribrushed it as a main colour.

Curious to see if I'm right. :smile.:

Nope, your not :teehee:

It's pencil stuff, no airbrush. Black primer, nagarroth night as base then P3 Beaten Purple (the Vallejo Purple looks same, but you wont get this color with those desaturated GW purple).

Then i make a kind of NMM (with my mediocre noobish skillz) with Beaten Purple with more and more VMC Squid Purple until pure Squid Purple. For the shadow its a mixed of P3 Coal black + Beaten purple + VMC Purple ink.

Then back to Beaten Purple with lots of water to make a glaze. Keep very few of this glaze on the pencil and multiple layer (going from the squid pink to the middle of the surface, and from the inked area to the middle as well). Repeat those layer until it's smooth enough.
