V legion always was underestimated, half-forgotten and didnt get the same amount of respect as the more glorious legions like Blood Angels or Luna wolf.

 

V legion isnt underestimated now and that XX legion sgt learned to respect the scars as well.

Hey! Ive started on one tartaros-squad, but need some other weaponloadouts i think than the out of the box-weapons. Like poweraxes or something. Also waiting for my terminator praetor

Dude, you're going to love the Apothecary White contrast paint.

 

Once you get past the learning curve of using it, it makes painting white super simple.

 

It's relevant for me as well, since I have a metric butt ton of white arms to paint on my Veterans.

 

Your Scars already look great though. I'm looking forward to seeing your Khan when his model is released.

[Claws and Effect]

I've messed around with the contrast paint at my local GW store. There is definitely a learning curve to it in that you don't want to lift your brush off the model. Had to unlearn some muscle memory.

 

It has a slight bluish cast to it, so you'll want to use it over the Wraithbone base to warm it up a bit.

The "falcon's claws" look good. Are they lightning claws-like weapons for those not in power armor, i.e., Scouts?

Falcons claws is a special white scars unit. A recon-armoured squad with lightningclaws or powersword/boktpistol. And a lot of sneaky rules

The claws look good. Is the right hand going to get the top/bottom brace connecting the handle to the claws like the left hand? 

 

I like the head. Is it from a necromunda model?
