Brothers, welcome to the IV.

I haven't really posted much here before, due to being very unsettled on the projects I work on, but recently I've found myself being drawn into heresy era Iron Warriors after a period of not doing much hobby due to to real life. Now I've got my motivation back, a club and friends to get in regular games and a head full of ideas I thought it was time to start a new project and something completely new for me. Hence the 116th was born. I will be taking mytime with this project making sure every detail is right to me, and building the army I want to build. I'm still getting into the background and fluff for the legion, but I present the first model for my Iron Warriors Comments, criticism and advice is all very much appreciated and more updates to follow soon.

Thanks for the comments all

Nice use of bits on the Siege Breaker, man! The stare looks really imposing.

It's amazing how much difference having a good group makes! Looking forward to seeing more from you. Are you looking at running Loyalists or Traitors?

I might look at running Khr Vhalen in the future for a few games but I'm a traitor at heart

Noice Siege Breaker.

Could be Golg as well.

I did originally think Golg as I tried to model a chainfist on but it didn't look quite right so just kept the powerfist

Nice choice of head, looking forward to seeing what else you bring out.

Thanks! Im currently working on a veteran/tactical squad so there up next

So first update, got three powered armored marines built ready for paint. Going for Heavy Bolters in

the squad for the shrapnel bolts so they will most likely be run as vets for the time being.

Also started to slap some paint on the siege breaker, I have an idea of colours in my head but he is

a bit of a test model too, base and head will be painted separately as I want to try and up my game

for this army, and put 100% into every model.

Thanks again for the comments all.

So this update didn’t come as soon as I would have liked, due to a very busy August but it’s here now and I guess that’s all that matters.

Onto the models anyway, I present the first finished model, the still unnamed siege breaker.

His armour looks very textured in the photo, but this doesn't show up in real life so I'm ok with that, and I think its good enough for

tabletop quality anyway, and I want to get playing as soon as possible before going back to do any touch ups.

I've also made a good start on the three marines too, so there pretty much done apart from I'm finding them very boring to look at with all the metal so any advice on how to break it up a bit would be appreciated. But otherwise again I'm happy with how they are turning out.
