Orpheus108 Posted July 21, 2018 Share Posted July 21, 2018 Greetings All, My first post here with GSC, and I'm very interested in fielding a GSC unit and would like some info on what people think of the GSC in kill team. I know it's still a week off but with what we have seen of the models seen that the GSC can use I'd just like to know what are the pros and cons with them, especially the heavy weapons that they can use I'd mining laser, seismic cannon. I'll run some genestealers of course as I can see them being complete sneaky gits. But what are your thoughts on the models and types of play that suits the cult. What else besides the team in the box would be good to get, I was thinking the Genestealer Cults Acolyte & Neophyte Hybrids set from gw or Hybrid Metamorphs and Acolyte Hybrids, both also some genestealers. With five troop choices it seems like Genestealer Cults have on of the most flexible lineups of all the kill teams. And they can take Aberrants....can anyone else take something quite so hefty? Orpheus108 Posted August 19, 2018 Author Share Posted August 19, 2018 I've been reading the other forums here with space marines and deaths watch, so far it's been so so with shotguns, but I'll still make a guy with a shotgun and try it out. I have a question for all has players. Do you run the colour schemes from the book from 7th (since 8th ed codex is still not out) or do some of you base your guys off the tyranids hive fleets? The reason I ask is I like the scheme of hive fleet tiamet, I know that you can paint them what ever colour you like but I do like the scheme of the rusted claw, and I enjoy seeing other colour schemes people have come up with.
