Bloodthirster will do the job when they get there but will probably get shot doen first. Daemon princes are fairly good for the role but it takes multiple DPs to drop some things so your talking DP spam to be effective. A bloodletter bomb might work but is expensive in points and CP and might end up fighting chaff The DP axe relic is probably youre most useful tool. SanguinaryGuardsman Posted July 29, 2018 Share Posted July 29, 2018 Depends what you mean by anti tank. If you are pure Khorne daemons you have skullcannons. Take 3 in every list you make and babysit them with a bloodmaster + the crimson crown. That relic effects shooting in additional to melee.. at least until it gets FAQ'd. Also, you should be running bloodletter hordes if you want to be somewhat competitive. I would recommend double battalion with 90+ bloodletters. With 90 you can have two 30 man bombs and 4x10 man units. With the bombs ALWAYS ALWAYS use the stratagem banner + instrument and never ever charge without your loci reroll. As Marshlands said... put Skullreaver on a Daemon Prince and wreck face. With that weapon you want to prioritize anything without an invuln save that you can waste in a single fight phase. Basically any vehicle/flyer in the game falls under this category. AVOID fighting nasty stuff with 4++ or better. You will not beat the swarmlord or Guilleman in CC unless they roll like dog:cuss. You should also run a second prince with the sword relic... blade of bloody/brass/skull whatever? I forget what it is called! That sword is also quite good at punking tanks. If you run a blood thirster you must use the armour of skorn with impervious to pain warlord trait and use warp surge in every shooting phase. The plan with this is not to survive... you probably won't. The plan is to eat up as much shooting as they have. If you arent opposed to allies... add a patrol detachment of alpha legion with a Khorne Exalted Champ and 40 Khorne cultists with brutal assault weapons. You can even use Khorne Bloodreavers from Sigmar as your cultist models. They look awsome. Shoving that nonesense into your opponents face on turn 1 will allow all your other stuff to get up the table easier. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
