azn.gamer Posted July 29, 2018 Share Posted July 29, 2018 Here are some models I had painted for KT. I do NOT paint, but am responsible for all posing, modifications, & kit-bashing. I've always enjoyed the modeling aspect for 40k and never planned on playing until KT was announced. I love bits - everyone has at least one and more if I thought they fit. I love how the thunder hammer looks, but wanted it to be 1-h as a power maul. My favorite kit to bash is SM Devastators - Devastator legs are awesome; I really like the helmets with optical enhancements; heavy bolter ammo packs are easily converted for frag cannon ammo; I like the targeter power pack too. The multi-melta is from a 30k kit & the plasma pistol is from the DW Overkill set. Left hand gun arms are annoyingly rare to find & I thought that DW would get to use Power Fists in KT - oh well, hopefully no one cries if I have to declare it a power sword at some point. Not sure though if they are legal They're all legal at meeting a minimum of having a Boltgun or DW shotgun. The rule of cool I try meeting a minimum level of legality now that I plan to play, but after that it's every bit I think looks fun.
