Nekro83 Posted August 3, 2018 Share Posted August 3, 2018 Hi Guys! I am thinking about making a Kill team for fun. I was thinking about 8 man world eaters team (Hearly eresy) with chainswords. Now....mixing Mk4 and regular CSM would be easy....but i wanted to know if mixing Primaris with regular CSm would be possible. I would be interested in using Primaris bodies and legs mixed with regular arms (with chainswords and pistols) Do you think arms would look too small on them? If you're OK with greenstuff, you could cut off the breastplates and replace them with mkIV - the GS is just to tidy up the stomach armour Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
azn.gamer Posted August 6, 2018 Share Posted August 6, 2018 The size isn't an issue, but you will notice the lack of detail. Primaris marines have more detailed forearms than standard SMs unless considering the Deathwatch right arm with Pip-Boys. What I've done with some models is use the Primaris Arms, and cut at the wrist cuff. I then cut the SMs similarly sanding the differences so I have the hand & weapon. The hands don't vary in size or detail, but whatever you're comfortable with will work. You really can't tell any difference other than the forearm detail.
