Hello all, please help me identify these things/soldiers.

I picked up a smattering of Tau for Kill Team, including some drones. Like I've previously posted I really have no idea whats what.

So please help me identify these miniatures, thank you so much!

These drones first.

From left to right:

1. Gun Drone

2. Missile Drone (only Broadsides can take them)

3. Stealth Drone (only Ghostkeels can/have to take them)

From left to right:

1. Fire Warrior with a Pulse Carbine

2. Fire Warrior with a Pulse Rifle

3. Fire Warrior with a Pulse Rifle and some kind of scanner which has no rules in-game so it's not relevant at all. Same as the Fire Warriors with binoculars you can build from the box.

Awesome thanks for the info. Where do I score an ion rifle?

Ion rifles as well as Rail rifles are part of the Pathfinder box and can only be used by Pathfinder. ;)

The Markerlight is a small bit you can add on top of Pulse Carbines, Pulse Rifles and Pulse Blaster.

Just compare your pic with a Firewarrior with a Pulse Carbine without Markerlight and these Pathfinder with a Pulse Carbine with Markerlight:

The rules for Markerlight say a non-vehicle model can't shoot their other weapons if they decide to shoot their Markerlight(s).

The hand-held sensor thing is the optional markerlight the Shas'ui of the firewarrior team is able to take.

No it's not. The Markerlight is the bit you can add on top of the Pulse Rifle/Carbine/Blaster.

In the original firewarrior kit, that hand-held bit was the markerlight for firewarriors.  That kit predates the plastic Pathfinder kit.  On the metal Pathfinders that portion was part of the carbine and not removable so you couldn't easily add it to a rifle without a saw.

Only one of the stealth suits I have is equipped with that little antenna thing on the head. What is that?

Also he has a little round thing with antenna on his shoulder. It almost looks like a landed UFO. What is that?

Yes, I've been looking to score a Tau Codex on Ebay! ;)

The antenna is just a basic bit on the model without any special function. Like the antenna on Drones and on the side of the helmet on Fire Warriors/Pathfinders/Battle Suits.

The round thing with antenna you're talking about is a Drone Controller when I'm thinking about the same bit and am not completely mistaken. However many support bits got their "function" changed or simply not mentioned in recent manuals/codex anymore (especially since some support systems are internal and don't have any bit at all) so yeah ... just use those bits for whatever you want. The only bit that has kinda a fix function is probably the Shield Generator. ^^

I'm actually seriously considering making a full Tau force. I've built my Admech up to 50 PL and have the next 50 laid out.

I have a ton of models and stuff for BA but nothing organized. I want to organize an army as I love BA so much, but I've done everything so haphazardly.

For Tau it would be the same as Admech. I can organize a list and build it up to about 50 PL or so for introductory games. I also have access to a metric ton of unloved Tau miniatures from our gaming group.

I'll post a pic of my first stealth suit tonight. KT will probably have 3 of them total.

I've played only one Kill Team game so far but I can confirm the awesomeness of 3 Stealth Suits. I'm a sucker for elite-ish armies (despite my focus on Stealth Suits and Pathfinder in regular 40k lol) so I jumped on the chance with Kill Team. :D
