I am wondering, reading the codex, it reads that the Warlord must be from the faction containing the relic, to give a given relic to a character in a detatchment. However, reading the FAQ for Death Guard (https://whc-cdn.games-workshop.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/warhammer_40000_death_guard_en-2.pdf) states that having access to stratagems (this is how I understand it) is enough. Can I then, in a force containing Death Guard, vanilla and Daemons, in separate detachments, take relics from all of them, as long as I give the various relics to characters in their respective detachments? My apologies if this is a really old discussed-to-death predicament, I have been away from the game since the beginning of 8th, so a lot of stuff is now new to me with the FAQs. Marshlands Posted August 7, 2018 Share Posted August 7, 2018 My go to DP monster mayhem is: Warlord tzeentch daemons DP with impossible robe and -1 damage trait Khorne daemon DP with relic axe Death Guard DP with supparating plate Thousand sons DP with helm of the third eye Renegade Slannesh DP with elixer Maybe iron warriors DP with fleshmetal or World Eaters DP with burning blood So yes you can - and it can be quite interesting to do so :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
