Thought I'd share the start of a project I have been wanting to do for a while now - Finally got around to it... On my shelf of shame sat a poor old Finecast Fabius Bile and after re-reading his books I felt it was time. Picked up a Primaris Chaplain on the cheap and this is the result!

I am going to make this a slow-crawl project to create a series of members of the Consortium - It's going to be costly and time consuming (Especially getting two Castellax Battle-Automata for my favourite Iron Warrior).

Oooh that’s perfect! I’m looking forward to this :biggrin.:

That looks spot on, can't wait to see more.

Cheers dudes! Knowing my luck, just as I finish this GW will release an updated model for him ahaha.

Update time:

Bile is coming along nicely, figure I will run the consortium as Death Guard in Kill Team - with Khorag, Arrian, Siqqara,Tzimiskes & one other - Either a very buff Igori (Counting as a plague marine), Duco (Night lord), Skalagrim (Sons of Horus) orrrr Oleander before he vanished then came back. Which appeals most? - I'd like opinions on this lads, if you gottem.

I am currently working on the last of my Mechanicus - The next update will pretty huge for that - but once complete this is my next major project alongside my Son's of the Phoenix Kill Team.

Aw, man, that chaplain works SO well as Fabius! Brilliant work, and an excellent head choice as well! Really looking forward to seeing the rest of the Consortium take shape (especially Arrian, for obvious reasons). And yes, I absolutely think you should include some Gland-hounds, and Igori would probably be an awesome addition to the group!).

Excellent work on Bile. Your painting skills are most commendable. Will you decorate his base with a vivisected Primaris Marine, to show Bile was in the process of examining Cawl's work?

Thanks guys - I will be building them from Primaris to keep the scale consistent but do all I can to hide that from view ahahaha. I love how much it looks like MKIV - I also acquired some chains for Arrian yesterday for his skulls and some detailing for Saqqara.

@KrautScientist - You're more versed in World Eaters lore, is there any art I can use as reference for Arrians blades? Or is it simply his thing?

Planning for Saqqara to have a lesser daemon form in hand.

Hugely buff Igori it is then ahaha. Can't wait for Khorag & Pazus, thats going to be fun.

FW's Rampagers should give you a pretty good idea of what Falax blades are supposed to look like (check out the guy in the top right here).

Hope this helps! :)

As for Igori, I realise this would make your job harder, but I personally wouldn't make her muscular in the sense an Astartes is muscular, but I rather imagine here as lean and mean, if that makes any sense. With a chiseled physique. Maybe the Darkoath Queen might be a place to start?! I also find myself thinking of the female Sequitor from the Easy To Build kit, but maybe that's just because I like the model? The armour would need quite a bit of work, obviously...

I have no blades like that unfortunately maybe I'll replace the hands with the FW blades some time in the future (Just held in place with pins - No glue) but I kinda like him as is right now -Might pick up some more plasticard soon and use that for them but I am fine with how he is progressing right now:

As for Igori - I was going to go with the increased speed deal - The impression I got from the books was more akin to the Gland Warriors rather than a mini-marine - Also the Gland Hounds are described as wearing mostly old Imperial Army gear so I have a plan for that!

Here's the dryfit of Saqqara so far!
