lhavoc Posted August 9, 2018 Share Posted August 9, 2018 A friend got me some Militarum Tempestus models and I am building them up as auxilaries/retainers of my House Raven Knight List. This is how I am considering building: Regimental Doctrine: Storm Troopers Tempestor Prime (Seneshal?) (Warlord) (Grand Strategist) Lord Commissar (Relic: Kirov's Aquilia) 5 X Tempestus Scions 5 X Tempestus Scions 5 X Tempestus Scions Livery would be Red Armour with Silver Trim & Skitarii Vanguard Helmets, Black Boots & Gauntlets and a cream/white cloth uniforms. More expensive and not as big a model count as using regular Guard infantry, but the uniforms and equipment follow with the "Rule of Cool" and make my Knights look good. MARK0SIAN Posted August 9, 2018 Share Posted August 9, 2018 I’m just curious, is there a particular reason you’ve gone for the lord commissar in the HQ? I’m only asking because his inability to deep strike means he will hinder your deployment unless you don’t mind putting him somewhere away from your scions. I might be tempted to swap him out for another tempestor prime. It means an extra order for your scions, he can deep strike with them and 5 man squads of scions need less morale support than larger ones.
